About Us

Vedantu is an Indian multinational online tutoring platform founded in 2014 and headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The company was established by IIT alumni Vamsi Krishna, Pulkit Jain, Anand Prakash, and Saurabh Saxena. The name "Vedantu" is derived from the Sanskrit words "Veda" (knowledge) and "Tantu" (network), reflecting the company's mission to create a knowledge network accessible to all students.

Vedantu offers live online tutoring for students in grades 4 to 12 across various subjects, including STEM, languages, and social sciences. The platform utilizes its proprietary White Board Audio Video Environment (WAVE) technology to facilitate interactive and personalized learning experiences. In addition to school curricula, Vedantu provides preparation courses for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, NTSE, and Olympiads.

The company has expanded its offerings to include offline learning centers in over 20 cities, focusing on JEE and NEET preparation. Vedantu's innovative approach and commitment to quality education have made it a prominent player in India's EdTech sector.
