Education
Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls established in 1987, is one of the many educational institutions which the Sadhu Vaswani Mission started all over India and abroad. It is a progressive school based on Indian thought, culture, tradition and the educational ideals of Sadhu Vaswani. This school, run by the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, is a linguistic minority school.
AIM
The aim of our school is to impart integrated and comprehensive education which is formative and not merely informative. It lays emphasis on the full development of the students' character and personality which should normally lead them to self-fulfilment and dedicate themselves to the service of society. Students are placed in an atmosphere that enables them to develop reverence for all prophets, seers and sages, heroes of humanity, all races and religions. The school environment teaches them to understand the love of God and the essential unity of life. Our school is a non-communal, non-sectarian institution which places emphasis on the permanent values of life as enunciated by ancient and modern thinkers.
SCHEME OF EDUCATION
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education under the 10 + 2 scheme of education, following the recommendations of NEP 2020. It prepares students for the All India Secondary School (Class X) and the All India Senior School Certificate (Class XII) examinations.
POLICY ON ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION
Keeping in view, the global concerns of the environmental degradation, various activities have been designed to promote conservation of natural resources as reflected in the educational philosophy of Sadhu Vaswani. The Seven Pillars of Education illustrate Reverence for All Life and Love for Nature. We aim to sensitise and arouse concern for environmental principles among our students. The process emphasises minimising waste, saving energy and water, using public transport and protecting our bio-diversity. The school has installed energy efficient appliances and solar panels on the school’s rooftop, to conserve electrical energy. The school also takes pride in a Rainwater Harvesting System that has been functional for more then 20 years, as a step towards water conservation. Through programs like Meatless Day, we stimulate the students to be committed to environmental conservation. The school’s policy involves innovative methods and techniques to create awareness for sustainable development.
