Chitkara Business School is a part of Chitkara University, Punjab since 2011. CBS has carved its niche in its first few years of existence by providing best of teaching-learning environment, employability / entrepreneurship opportunities and excellent research & innovation for industry. Our faculty is our strength and our students are our pride. There are three departments at Chitkara Business School. Post Graduate department offers MBA program with variety of concentrations and industry driven programs to enhance the employability quotient of all MBA graduates. Under Graduate department offers BBA, B.Com and B.A. (Hons.) in Economics. BBA and B.Com programs cater to several specialisations for our under graduate students. Doctoral Research Centre (DRC) offers unique and dynamic Doctoral Program for working executives in order to find solutions to real time industry problems through research and innovation.

Chitkara University is a private university located in Rajpura, Punjab, India. It offers undergraduate programs, post-graduate program and doctoral programs in fields like Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and other courses in Health Sciences, Nursing, Hospitality, Art & Design, and Education.

Chitkara University was founded by the Punjab State Legislature under “The Chitkara University Act” in 2010.The university comes under the establishment of the Chitkara Educational Trust based in Chandigarh and founded by Dr Ashok K Chitkara and Dr Madhu Chitkara in 1998.

Chitkara University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Relevant programs are approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Indian Nursing Council (INC) and National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT).

Chitkara University was ranked in the 180–200 band among universities in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2020. Independent Publications and Ranking agencies have consistently ranked Chitkara University among the best in India.
